Make Your Own miniature Glass Flower

Flameworking Workshop - register below

Saturday, March 14 at 10am or 12pm

Experience the magic of working with molten glass in this hands-on flameworking workshop. During this 90 minute class, you’ll use a small oxygen/propane torch to heat and shape glass rods, learning the basics of flameworking as you create your own glass flower from start to finish.

This is a highly interactive class—students do about 90% of the work themselves with guidance from an experienced instructor. No prior glass experience is needed; just bring your curiosity and creativity.

Your finished piece will cool slowly after class and be ready for pickup at a date determined by your instructor. Shipping is available for an additional fee and can be arranged at check-in prior to your workshop.

Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants must follow these guidelines:

• Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and natural-fiber clothing are required

• Long hair must be tied back

• Participants must be 14 years or older

• Please refrain from consuming alcohol before your workshop

• Students 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult

• Water bottles are encouraged and allowed in the Hot Shop

• Cost: $80 per student

• Class size is extremely limited

• Advance registration is required

• Full payment is due at the time of registration

• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date. Cancellations made after that time are non-refundable.
