Forged Bottle Opener Workshop

Saturday, May 18 at 9am or 1pm

Come create your own opener for your favorite bottled beverage while exploring the world of blacksmithing/forging.  Participants will be guided through how to safely use traditional forging techniques including the heating, punching, twisting, and drifting of steel bars,  to create 2, possibly 3 (time dependent) styles of fully functional bottle opener.  Great chance to come gain some forging skills, and take home a useful tool for your home kitchen/bar!

Must be 16 or older; no experience required. Protective gear will be provided, however students must wear cotton denim pants, long sleeves, and closed toed shoes/boots in order to participate. Instructors reserve the right to refuse participation if proper attire is not worn.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date may not be refunded.
