In 2019, renowned glass artist Therman Statom came to Starworks to work with kids from the Eckerd Connects program, along with Starworks staff and glass interns to create the glass house that sits proudly on the front lawn.

Eckerd Connects is a national non-profit organization that provides workforce development, Job Corps training, and child and family services.
