Blowing for beginners
Flameworking Workshop - register below
Saturday, May 16 at 10am or 12pm
Experience the magic of working with molten glass in this hands-on flameworking workshop. In this workshop you will use an oxygen/propane torch, melting and attaching borosilicate glass rods, to create your own watering globe, perfect for houseplants.
This is a highly interactive class—students do about 90% of the work themselves with guidance from an experienced instructor. No prior glass experience is needed; just bring your curiosity and creativity.
Your finished piece will cool slowly after class and be ready for pickup at a date determined by your instructor. Shipping is available for an additional fee and can be arranged at check-in prior to your workshop.
