Make Your Own Glass Heart Pendant

Saturday, February 14 at 10am or 12pm

Experience the magic of working with molten glass in this hands-on flameworking workshop. During this 90 minute class, you’ll use a small oxygen/propane torch to heat and shape glass rods, learning the basics of flameworking as you create your own glass heart pendant from start to finish.

This is a highly interactive class—students do about 90% of the work themselves with guidance from an experienced instructor. No prior glass experience is needed; just bring your curiosity and creativity.

Your finished pendant will cool slowly after class and be ready for pickup the following Tuesday. Shipping is available for an additional fee and can be arranged at check-in prior to your workshop.

Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all participants must follow these guidelines:

• Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and natural-fiber clothing are required

• Long hair must be tied back

• Participants must be 16 years or older

• Ages 16–18 must be accompanied by an adult

• Please refrain from consuming alcohol before your workshop

• Water bottles are encouraged and allowed in the Hot Shop

Registration

• Cost: $80 per student

• Class size is extremely limited

• Advance registration is required

• Full payment is due at the time of registration

• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the workshop date. Cancellations made after that time are non-refundable.
