Beginner Glass Blowing (6-week workshop)

Meeting Wednesdays, 6-9pm starting September 23

Students learn the basics of gathering, safely working in the studio, assisting, and making objects such as paperweights, flowers, cups, and vases. Class time is divided between demonstrations/instruction and hands-on practice. Students may take home pieces, but glassblowing has a steep learning curve, so finished work is not guaranteed. If proper attire is not worn students will not be able to participate and will not receive a refund.

SAFETY

• Participants must wear closed toe shoes and natural fiber clothing.

• Long hair must be pulled back.

• Participants must be 16+

• Must refrain from alcohol before your workshop.

• Water bottles are allowed in the Hot Shop, and encouraged.

REGISTRATION

• This workshop is $800 per student. This is for the full 6-week course,

• Class size is limited. Advance registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the first workshop date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.

This is a 6-week recurring workshop. You must sign all for all times offered to participate.
