6-Week Beginner Borosilicate Glass Class

Meeting Fridays, 5:30pm-8pm, Sept 5 - Oct 10.

This is a weekly introductory class on the technique of blowing glass using a bench top torch. This technique is usually known as “flameworking” or “lampworking”.

Join instructor Sarah Band in creating beginner level glass items including blown ornaments, pendants, sculptures, and more!

Equipment and materials will be provided. Repeat students are welcome and encouraged! This class uses borosilicate/hard glass. Meeting Fridays, 5:30pm-8pm, Sept 5 - Oct 10. Must sign liability waiver at check in.

SAFETY

• Participants must wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and natural fiber clothing.

• Long hair must be pulled back.

• Participants must be 16+

• Please refrain from alcohol before your workshop.

• Water bottles are allowed in the Hot Shop, and encouraged.

REGISTRATION

• This workshop is $500 per student. This is for the full 6-week course,

• Class size is extremely limited. Advance registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the first workshop date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.
