Hot Glass Cold Beer with Claire Cadorette

Things are getting pretty serious in the STARworks Glass Studio for Hot Glass Cold Beer on November 11. This gallbladder is lacking something and it’s up to our team to glass surgeons to fill it with stones before having it surgically removed from the pipe.
STARworks Glass Education Coordinator Claire Cadorette will lead the STARworks Glass team in creating a glass gallbladder, then filling it with stones. The operation starts at 5:30pm, followed by David Childers Live in the STARworks Café & Taproom. The House of Odell and Luella food truck will be on site with specialty burgers, barbecue, hand-cut fries and more.
COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED TO ENTER GLASS STUDIO
Masks are also required inside the STARworks building unless you are seated in the cafe or the glass studio.
We are following CDC guidelines regarding the Covid 19 pandemic. Our requirements for visiting may change accordingly.
If you have not been vaccinated yet, never fear! We will record Hot Glass Cold Beer and post it on our YouTube channel in the days following the demonstration.

Tickets are available by reservation only. You can register by selecting November 11 from the calendar at the bottom of the page or by calling 910-428-9001. We are charging a small fee (only $5!) to reserve seating. You get your first drink FREE when you get here and show us your vax card. You can use your free drink coupon for beer or wine if you’re 21 and older, or for coffee, smoothies, etc for all ages.
Claire Cadorette
Claire Cadorette is the Glass Education Coordinator at STARworks. Claire holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and has shown work at several galleries in Rhode Island as both a student and post collegiate. As a Chrysler Museum assistant she worked with the Old Dominion University and Virginia Wesleyan, which instilled a passion for education.
