Hot Glass Fundamentals

10am - 5pm

Learn the basic skills of gathering molten glass from the furnace, shaping with hand tools, assisting, and working safely in a hot shop environment.

Please note, this is a moderately physically demanding class. No experience necessary. Ages 16+

This is six hours of instruction with an hour break for lunch. Sandwiches, soups and snack options available for purchase in the cafe, or participants are welcome to bring their own lunch.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to class date. Cancellations made after that date will not be refunded.

SAFETY

• Participants must wear closed toe shoes and natural fibers

• Mouth pieces are cleaned with alcohol between participants

• Hand sanitizer is available for use before and after your session

• Please bring a bottle of water with you

• Class is $275

• Class size is limited. Advance registration is required and payment is due at the time of registration
