Scarred for Life Live at the Cafe

ScarredforLife.jpg

Live music performed by Scarred for Life in the STARworks Cafe and Taproom! No admission fee, but tips for the performers are greatly appreciated. All ages welcome! The Smokehouse Bistro food truck will be here.

Originally formed in 1987, Scarred For Life has been fortunate to have the same members for more than 30 years.  While primarily a cover band now, the group recorded original material in its early years and shared stages with such national acts as Black Oak Arkansas, Dillon Fence and Sex Police, and have headlined numerous shows at clubs and events across North Carolina.  Throughout the years, band members have played and still play in multiple bands, crossing many genres and performing all along the East Coast.  SFL draws from this experience to perform songs from the classic rock era, 80’s new wave, 90’s alternative, and current rock and Americana. Their roots are local to central NC, as the members are natives of Montgomery and Randolph counties. Members include Terry Burrow on lead guitar and vocals, Taylor Whitesell on lead vocals and guitar, Steve Delemar on drums and percussion, John Harrison on bass and vocals, and Bill Walker on keyboards, guitar and vocals.

Snacks, coffee, beer & wine available for purchase in the café. Feel free to bring in take-out or have pizza delivered.
