Guest artist Thor Bueno will work with STARworks glassblowers to perform an exciting glass demonstration for free! All ages are welcome. Those who are 21 and older can purchase locally brewed beer or wine from the bar in the glass studio or the STARworks Café & Taproom. Purchase a drinking glass or ceramic tumbler from the School House Gallery and the price of a beverage of your choice is included in the price. Drinks can also be purchased at the bar. Thor Bueno started blowing glass in 1979 while growing up in southern California. Studying with Italo Scanga, he received a BFA from the University of California at San Diego and MFA from Alfred University. Thor's solo work ranges from functional-decorative, object as sculpture, to installation and performance based artworks.
